From the minute Grace walked into our boutique, we knew we’d love to work with her on her big day. She had bought a “copy” dress on the internet which has just arrived from China. Let’s just say it didn’t quite live up to her expectations! So, she set us quite a challenge! She was due to fly out to Caracas, Venezuela for her wedding in just a few weeks and needed a dress to look stunning in on her big day.
With Grace we picked out some beautiful dresses to show off her gorgeous curves and chose a completely gorgeous Ellis mermaid dress, 11441. We made some hasty phone calls, pulled in favours and we managed to get the dress in her size double quick.
Our seamstress, Kate White Atelier, then sprang into action, working long hours to ensure that the dress fitted to perfection. We then teamed it up with a delicate lace jacket, and topped it off with a stunning lace veil.
Grace was married in Venezuela in June this year. As you can see from the images she looked totally gorgeous in her dress, and now you know the background, can you imagine our faces when we saw her trash the dress!!!
