What do they say? Never work with animals?! We had great fun on this autumnal wedding shoot at Burley Manor with all the lovely animals included! The horses ate the flowers, the dog slobbered on the dress, however we think the images were well worth it! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side either but luckily Burley Manor, set in the scenic New Forest in Hampshire, looks stunning whatever the weather!
New Forest Pony with Cymbeline Paris bridal outfit Shetland Pony with Cymbeline Paris Bridal Separates Tiffany by Ellis Bridals in the grounds of Burley Manor Gemma by Ellis Bridals with our Bassett Hound
The inside shots for this autumnal wedding took place in the beautiful barn at Burley Manor, the light and airy feel combined with the traditional features of the beams and brick fireplaces, make it a pretty perfect backdrop for all the images we wanted to create for this styled shoot. We took a variety of bridal outfits to show just how versatile this gorgeous venue is. These included some seperates by our lovely French designer Cymbeline Paris, the tulle skirt of this ensemble has an on trend split, and the soft lace body has built in French knickers and a low back. We also took Tiffany by Ellis Bridals which has a more traditional satin ball gown with a lace bodice and three quarter length sleeves, we paired this with a feather bolero, perfect for keeping warm on your autumnal wedding at Burley Manor.
Gemma by Ellis Bridals is a beautiful crepe sheath dress Gemma by Ellis Bridals has a stunning beaded back Cymbeline Paris wedding dress with keyhole back Soft French lace on our Cymbeline wedding dress
We also thought Gemma by Ellis Bridals would look great at Burley Manor, this is a sheath dress in a lovely, and comfortable, soft stretchy crepe. The stunning beaded back definitely gives this dress the wow factor. And for a more bohemian vibe on this autumnal styled shoot, again by Cymbeline Paris, we took a full French lace dress which has a statement keyhole back and pretty capped sleeves, perfect for the barn at Burley Manor. The bridesmaid dress is by Dessy and we think the colour matches our autumnal theme perfectly!

Everyone thinks a shoot is a glamorous event to be involved in, however the reality is it’s a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun! Contending with wayward animals, props that have a mind of their own, and the good old British weather can you leave you exhausted by the end of the day! So we thought we would include some behind the scenes shots to illustrate this! We’re all professionals though, and we had a lot of laughs on this lovely day, and I would highly recommend any of these suppliers to make your big day go without a hitch!
