Ailsa’s situation was slightly unusual as she lives and works in Guatemala but is originally from the UK. She was visiting her parents in Hampshire and this was where she wanted to find her dream dress. Her wedding was to her love Hugo and the adventurous couple run a dance school in Guatemala, where the wedding was to take place.
We normally like to see our brides around four weeks before the big day to start fittings. However, this was not going to be possible with Ailsa as she was not coming back to the UK before the wedding. We decided the best thing to do was to go with a made-to-measure dress by Jasmine Bridal. Our seamstress was also on hand to take some extra measurements and requirements from Ailsa.
