The first time Stacey walked through our barn door, we could tell she wasn’t in a great place. We started off with a good chat about her experience so far and what she wanted from her dress. As we talked, the mood lightened and her lovely smile started to shine through. Her smile definitely broadened when she tried on her beautiful Ellis Bridals dress which turned out to be the one she said ‘I Do’ in!
I just wanted to say another massive thank you to you and Dalia for helping me with my dress for my special day. I felt absolutely amazing in it, and had lots of compliments too.
Stacey’s advice for future brides-to-be:
Don’t expect your dress to be one of the first few dresses you try on in the first shop. This may happen but it’s not like all the TV programmes where you instantly fall in love with one of the first few you see. This is what I struggled with and it really ruined my initial experience because it just wasn’t as easy as everyone made it out to be. I tried on 17 dresses in total before I agreed on my perfect dress. I had some ideas in mind but nothing compares to actually trying them on and deciding what looks best when it is on. I went with my mum and sister and they picked out dresses too, it helped make it a fun experience and not just a focus on getting the dress sorted.
