The Blushing Bride in Lyn Ashworth Wedding Dress with Italian backdrop

We are so lucky to meet so many lovely brides-to-be in our business. We love to hear how their day went and see the pictures that captured it all.

So, when we have a drop-dead gorgeous bride with a fabulous personality getting married against a beautiful Italian backdrop in a Lyn Ashworth by Sarah Barrett dress all photographed by Paulo Ceritano, a photographer recommended by Rock My Wedding we really couldn’t wait!!

So, was Laura a “blushing bride” on her big day?

Laura’s Words

A friend recommended Sass & Grace to me, so I made an appointment at the Boutique on my first day of dress hunting.

Unlike other bridal shops, Sass & Grace only host one bride at a time. This makes the experience much more personal, special and relaxing. Sam also ensures she gives you a 90 minute slot, so you never feel rushed or pressured. From start to finish the experience I had has been wonderful. I went to another 5 or so shops following my visit to Sass & Grace, but nothing matched the dress I had fallen in love with, so we went back.

When I put the Lyn Ashworth by Sarah Barrett dress back on I knew it was the one. Trying on other dresses had made me appreciate even more the level of detail and workmanship in this handmade dress, and appreciate how superior the fit was. As soon as the decision was made Sam cracked open the bubbles and we all celebrated.

Then came to the colour! The sample in shop was white, but I had always be drawn to the pink dresses in shops. Sam said she could make it in a beautiful blush colour for me. I’m so glad I made the decision to follow my gut and do something a bit different, my husband’s first comment was he loved the colour, and loved the fact I’d been brave enough to do something a little bit unusual.

When the dress arrived, Sam’s fantastic seamstress Dalia worked her magic to subtly tweak the final bits to ensure the perfect fit. Sam then arranged for boxed bridal to pack it up in a hand luggage sized box for me to take to Italy.

I’m so glad I found Sass & Grace. Sam made the experience so enjoyable, and I got to wear the best dress I’ve ever worn in my life.
