Charlotte always had a very clear vision of how she would look on her big day. She initially came to us because she loved a Mikado dress by Ellis that she knew we kept in the boutique.
Charlotte still tried on plenty of different styles from our extensive range, and she kept an open mind when trying on dresses, which is really important. However, as soon as she put the Ellis dress on, we all knew it was ‘the one’ for her!
Charlotte marries Mark in a Ball Gown by Ellis Bridals
The happy couple married at the stunning C17th Lulworth Castle in the Lulworth Estate in Devon with catering by Rabbit & Rose. Charlotte was styled beautifully with a classic look by Grace Bailey Bridal Hair and Michaela Selene Make Up, complimented by an array of picture-perfect floral arrangements by Concept Flowers, Dorset. The talented Keith Bridle Photography, Dorset captured the day perfectly!

“Enjoy the experience and take it all in! Try to give yourself enough time not to worry or stress and it helps if you find a beautiful boutique like Sass and Grace to experience it all in! I loved how open the barn was and the huge gorgeous mirrors made it such a lovely experience, along with Sam’s help and advice of course! Be open to trying on styles you might not initially think suit you but also make sure your dress will look right in your venue. Although I had gone with a specific dress in mind, I tried on lots of beautiful dresses that I would have been more than happy wearing, but I always went back to an image in my head of me walking up the castle steps on my wedding day and the Ellis dress fitted perfectly in that image!
The dress really was just right and I’m so glad I found you and your lovely boutique to get a real life princess dress!
