We really loved dressing Emma! Her style is oh-so elegant and she was a pleasure to welcome to the boutique each and every time. Emma had so much going on in her life – a new baby, a new job and a wedding to plan, so we knew we needed to make the process slick and simple for this busy bride-to-be.

Here’s Emma’s story on finding ‘the one’ in her own words:
“When I arrived at Sass and Grace I knew that I would find my dress there. The boutique is beautifully done out with a whole plethora of very good quality dresses and accessories to choose from. Plus a fabulous owner!
I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted – I had tried so many before getting to Sass and Grace that I was totally “dress blind”, but Sam knew the right questions to ask to find out what kind of things I liked. With Sam’s patient(!) guidance, I found “the one” and there were plenty of options for jewellery, belts, shoes, lingerie, bridesmaid dresses and veils to choose from too.
Going to see Sam and Dalia for my fittings was a truly enjoyable experience and I was made to feel very special from the start to the end of the journey. I remember going to pick my dress up before the wedding and actually feeling a bit sad that the process was over. However, I couldn’t have been more happy with my whole ensemble. Thank you Sam and Dalia for helping make my wedding day so special. Emma xx “

Emma’s advice for future brides:
“You never know how you’re going to react when you’ve found “the dress” and it’s totally normal to not have the teary breakdown you see on TV shows like “Say Yes to the Dress”. You can absolutely have the dress of your dreams and still know it’s the one, but not react in that way. So don’t be thrown if you don’t cry!!
Also, be open minded about the silhouette you want. At first I was sure I wanted a floaty princess dress, and at 6 months post partum, I was insistent that I did not want a form fitting dress. What did I end up with I hear you ask?! Well, you guessed it, I ended up with a fitted dress!
So, the moral of the story is just go with flow, don’t have any preconceived ideas and let Sam be your guide to wedding dress happiness!”
Congratulations Emma and Max!
